FS9 constantly crashing

Hi all,

I've just installed FS9 on my system but can't keep the thing running.
All problems seem to point to my ATI video drivers but they're the
latest.

My system -
PIII 866MHz
1GB PC133 SDRAM
ATI Radeon FSC 7000 64MB Graphics (with latest XP drivers from ATI)

Even when all settings are set to their lowest it only lasts for 20
minutes or so. Is my system up to the job (can't afford to upgrade)?

p.s. is microsoft.public.flightsim only available on Google Groups?
Couldn't find it on my local or Microsofts news servers.

I'm having the same issue with my installation of FS9 ever since I did a
hardrive reformat.

I'm running:
2.8GHz P4 Processor
1024MB 233MHz RAM
128MB nVidia GeForce4 TI4600 AGP
Creative Soundblaster Audigy Gamer
Windows XP w/ SP2 and all drivers and firmware updated
